peter, mitzi, bryan, and katy | wasilla, alaska

Mitzi invited me out to their lake-front property.  It’s hosted a lifetime of memories for Bryan and Katy – and, so was the natural choice for our session.  This is a family that knows how to play together!  I hear that -when camera’s aren’t present – there’s actual tackling and other such fun.  I wasn’t privy to that kind of action – but, it was clear that they were all trying to squeeze in a few more fun memories before Bryan’s return to college.  Thank you all – for including me in your weekend!

Madison Visser - Love these you guys! You're such a great family!

alison | kincaid park – anchorage, alaska

Alison just has a glow about her!  Another very photogenic subject – and, she has such an easy-going personality.  She had quite the entourage along with us:  it was important to her that we include her parents, her sister, and her boyfriend in our session.  And, their adorable new puppy, “Nitro”, played at our feet that afternoon and eventually found his way into some really sweet shots, too.  I was tempted to take Nitro home.  Thank you all!

maddy | kincaid park – anchorage, alaska

Now here’s a brilliant smile.  What you can’t see, though, is Maddy’s beautiful heart.  I got to photograph her older brother, Jordan, a few years ago.  He came along for part of our session on Saturday morning.  It’s such a gift to know this great family.  And, it was a gift to do your senior portraits, Maddy.  Thank you!

Kristian - Maddy is a star! The shot of her eyes looking up the wall and her laying on the deck are great! Her eyes sparkle with life! Jordan - what a clown. Mom is going to love the tongue shot - print it BIG.

Madison Visser - Molly! We LOVE them! They turned out so great! Thank you so much! Cant wait to see the rest :)

dolph and suzanne | hotel alyeska – girdwood, alaska

Dolph and Suzanne chose Girdwood for their union.  And, we were spared the rain that’s become so commonplace this summer.  I had the privilege of getting to know these two earlier this year, which always seems to heighten the significance for me.  My absolute favorite pictures happened in a pair of Adirondack chairs we discovered on the Hotel Alyeska’s patio.  These two just adore one another.  They were just beaming during that ceremony.  I’m so happy for you both, Dolph and Suzanne.  Thank you.

Katie - All wonderful. LOVE the opening shot. And love the ties -very creative in how you featured such a fun detail.

Pamsmith5@mac.com - LOVE all those vest shots, Molly! How unique. Love it
